FIM Superbike World Championship | July 11th – 13th

If you feel the need for speed this summer, then the FIM Superbike World Championship at the Mazda Raceway is for you. International riders test their skills in two races on high performance bikes.

 

 

California Rodeo Salinas | July 17th – 20th

The California Rodeo Salinas is a huge rodeo event, one of the top 20 in the US regular season.   More than 700 cowgirls and cowboys will compete for almost $400,000 in winnings.  But the biggest prizes are the silver and gold Salinas belt buckles.  Events includes bull riding, steer wrestling, saddle bronco riding, team roping, horse races, barrel races, and much more.  The rodeo is a great Monterey summer tradition.

 

 

Carmel Bach Festival | July 19th – August 2nd

Each summer, the Caramel Bach Festival presents concerts celebrating the work of J.S. Bach and other influential composers and artists such as Mozart, Brahms, and Handel.  Main concerts take place in the Sunset Theater and Chamber Music Concerts are held in several other venues.

 

 

Feast of Lanterns | July 23rd – 27th

The Feast of Lanterns has been celebrated in Pacific Grove, CA for more than one hundred years.  The festival is a celebration that includes a lantern pageant, activities, and parades.
