The snow is melting and summer will be here before we know it. It’s time to start planning your next vacation, so how about going somewhere different this time around? Consider a summer vacation to Mount Desert Island Maine, a glacier-formed island in the Atlantic Ocean off the northern coast of Maine.
It’s the largest island off the coast of Maine and the 6th largest island in the contiguous United States. Tim Robbins, David Rockefeller, Susan Sarandon and Martha Stewart are current, notable summer residents. There are four towns on Mount Desert Island–Mount Desert, Southwest Harbor, Tremont, and Bar Harbor.
They say the great outdoors lives up to its name in Arkansas. So if you’ve been wanting to visit the area, why wait? There’s so much to see and do, starting with Hot Springs National Park. Surrounding the north end of the city of Hot Springs, it’s in an urban area. We have a ton of reasons why you should make time to see the hot springs while in Arkansas, but here’s a start.
It’s known as the “City with Soul.” Jackson, Mississippi has friendly people, festivals and fun things to do for every age group and price point. As you plan your trip, here are a few Jackson, MS attractions we recommend checking out!
The Mississippi River
Go boating or fishing on the Mississippi River, the longest river in North America and the ninth largest body of water in the world! There are plenty of options for an adventure on the Mississippi River!
