The snow is melting and summer will be here before we know it. It’s time to start planning your next vacation, so how about going somewhere different this time around? Consider a summer vacation to Mount Desert Island Maine, a glacier-formed island in the Atlantic Ocean off the northern coast of Maine.
It’s the largest island off the coast of Maine and the 6th largest island in the contiguous United States. Tim Robbins, David Rockefeller, Susan Sarandon and Martha Stewart are current, notable summer residents. There are four towns on Mount Desert Island–Mount Desert, Southwest Harbor, Tremont, and Bar Harbor.
They say the great outdoors lives up to its name in Arkansas. So if you’ve been wanting to visit the area, why wait? There’s so much to see and do, starting with Hot Springs National Park.
